Annie Beaubien (Carrie Pitezel)
is thrilled to be making her debut with A Theater in the Dark! Annie graduated from Northwestern University in 2021 with a BA in Theatre and Biological Sciences. Her recent credits include Charity Woman 1/Constance/Mrs. Crow in A Christmas Carol (Metropolis Performing Arts Center), Josephine Strong in Urinetown (Jeff Nominated Best Ensemble Short Run, Surging Films & Theatrics), Clarice Orsini Understudy in Botticelli in the Fire (Jeff Nominated Best Play, First Floor Theatre), The Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz (AlphaBet Soup Productions), Ursula/Mersisters Understudy in The Little Mermaid (Music Theater Works), and Green Girl Understudy in SHOUT! the Mod Musical (Metropolis Performing Arts Center). Ethan Carlson (H.H. Holmes)
played H.H. Holmes in A Theatre In the Dark’s 2021 workshop of The White City, and is excited to be behind the mic once again. Coming from the ensemble of Kokandy Productions’ Jeff Award-nominated Sweeney Todd, his other favorite roles include Malvolio (Twelfth Night), The Poet (An Iliad), and Robert (Proof). He also had the opportunity to play King Ferdinand in Prague Shakespeare Company’s Love’s Labours Lost, and made his radio play debut as Montfleury with Theatre Above the Law’s 2021 Cyrano: A Radio Revival. Robin Fertitta (Ned ConnEr)
is so excited to be a part of this project. Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, she went to St. Louis to study acting at Webster University. After graduation, Robin has played Young Marley and Ensemble in A Christmas Carol at the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre for three years now (and hopefully many more to come!), as well as Minerva Hopgrove, Vintner of the Shire at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. She’s dabbled in a few voice acting projects as well and is beyond grateful to be a part of this one! Katharine Jordan (Julia ConnEr)
is thrilled to be making her debut with A Theater in the Dark! She is a Massachusetts-born, Chicago-based performer. Most recently, Katharine understudied Margery/Goody for Red Theater’s production of Vinegar Tom, lent her voice to a few projects for the Salem Witch Museum, worked as a volunteer narrator for SPORK, and narrated her husband, Kurt Steiner’s, adaptation of Hansel and Gretel for the StoryLight podcast.Yiayia Knows Best, Katharine’s one-woman show about the Greek-American experience from her and her grandmother’s point of view is available on YouTube. Erin Lin (Emie Cigrand)
is a freelance voice actress based in Oswego, IL. She played Julia Conner/Emie Cigrand in A Theater in the Dark’s workshop of The White City back in Nov 2021.She joined the cast of A Murder in the Court of Xanadu with A Theater in the Dark as Marla in Nov 2022. Her work consists of audiobooks, radio commercials, YouTube channel voiceovers and news narration for brands like Johnson & Johnson, Alibaba, the Atlantic, Vox and the New Yorker. Keenan Odenkirk (Ben Pitezel)
is a Chicago actor and writer represented by Big Mouth Talent. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, he received his undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Theatre before moving to Chicago to pursue acting. Onstage, favorite roles include Nick (Virginia Woolf - Jeff Nominated Best Ensemble), Crumpet (The Santaland Diaries), Erik (A Green River) and Osric (Hamlet). He has appeared with Invictus, Valiant, Quicksilver Shakes, and The Mississippi Bend Players. His work in television and film include FX's Justified: City Primeval, NBC’s Chicago Fire, the Award-Winning short film Shovel Man, and the feature film That Night. Brian Parry (Detective Frank Geyer)
A Redtwist Theatre Company member since 2007, favorite roles there include Dysart (EQUUS), Nixon (FROST/NIXON), George (VIRGINIA WOOLF), JohnnyPateen (CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN), and John (SHINING CITY – Jeff Award.) An Artistic Associate with Promethean Theatre Ensemble, he played Henry II in their much lauded THE LION IN WINTER. He was honored to play the morally flexible Senator Hedges in Remy Bumppo’s Jeff Award winning production of BORN YESTERDAY. He’s appeared with Lifeline, Steep, Eclipse, Northlight, Court, Wisdom Bridge, Oak Park and Illinois Shakespeare Festival Theatres. You may have heard his voice selling or explaining something vital. Dylan Walker (Hatch)
is a Chicago based performer. Originally from Texas he acquired a degree in theatre from Texas A&M: Corpus Christi before moving to Chicago. Favorite roles include Cassius (Julius Caesar), Tom Riddle (The Tragedy of Tom Riddle), Tom Sawyer (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer), Jeff (Suburbia) and Carl (Love Me Tinder). Dylan is excited to dip his toes into the audio play world! Dylan wants to thank his two cats for all of their support.
Taylor Wilkes (Quinlan)
is excited to be a part of this thrilling and macabre production of “The White City”. Being a Chicago based actor from the small city of St. George, UT and with this being his first venture into voice acting, Taylor is thrilled to play a character in a show that harkens back to the years of the suspenseful radio plays that he and his family listened to throughout his childhood. Mainly an actor of the stage, Taylor has enjoyed a steady lineup of different roles from plays and musical theater alike. From playing one of the many different waspy characters in “The Dining Room” to the laugh out loud slapstick roles of Joel Bartley’s “Days of Noir Lives”, Taylor is thrilled by this new opportunity to entertain in a new and exciting way. Taylor would like to thank his family back home in Utah and the friends he’s made in this beautiful city.

Corey Bradberry (Director, PRODUCER)
is a Chicago-based director and producer, Producing Artistic Director of A Theater in the Dark, and a Faculty Member at The Second City Training Center. Most recently, Corey directed and produced A Theater in the Dark’s fall drama A Murder in the Court of Xanadu and earlier this year, served as Production Manager for A Red Orchid Theatre’s Equity-Jeff-Award-winning production of The Moors (Best Production, Mid-Sized). In summer 2021, Corey directed Shipwrecked!: an Entertainment at Oil Lamp Theatre which won 2021 Broadway World Chicago Awards for “Best Director”, “Best Play”, and “Best Production”. Corey’s audio play A White Whale, which he wrote and directed, won top prizes at the 2021 Atlanta Audio Fringe Festival and Thornhill Theatre Festival; and also directed A Theater in the Dark’s hit original audio play A War of the Worlds. Corey has assistant directed with major institutions including the Second City and Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre. Corey is a 2015 Kennedy Center National Directing Fellow and was awarded the 2013 Emerging Artist Award from the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs. Education: M.F.A. Rick Kinnebrew (Playwright)
As a beloved children’s librarian, Rick tells stories, teaches storytelling, and designs play scenarios. His stage plays and radio plays have reached audiences from Chicago to New Orleans. He is the author of Ten Dollar House (Pride Films & Plays; Broom Street Theater; Mineral Point Opera House). The screenplay Fog City--a superhero story set in alt-history California--was a Windy City Film Festival finalist and a top 10% finisher for the Nicholl Fellowship. He is currently enrolled in UCLA’s Screenwriting Program.
nick montopoli (Musician/Composer)
JAKE SORGEN (SOUND DESIGN)
is a Chicago-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, and writer. He has composed scores in Chicago for Redtwist Theatre, The Story Theatre, Trap Door Theatre, 2nd Story, Haven Theatre, The Passage Theatre, A Theatre in the Dark, Oakton College, Stage Left Theatre, and many others around the country. His original works – often merging text, movement, and music – have been performed by Invoke String Quartet, Kite Saxophone Quartet, Loadbang Ensemble, Outlet Trio, Ashley Bathgate, and other groups featuring Jake as an instrumentalist and narrator. From 2014-2019, Jake served as Artistic Associate and Resident Composer for The Rogue Theatre in Tucson, AZ and was named the “Maverick Prodigy Composer” by The Maverick Concert Hall in 2018. He holds an MFA in Composition from the Vermont College of Fine Arts
